Channel 365
Channel 365 is all about our KCRG families! We believe strongly in building up our parents and families to grow together in Christ, especially when you consider that children in the KCRG ministry spend on average only 40 hours a year with us.
Baptisms
KCRG proudly offers a baptism class for our elementary-age children and their parent(s) to help prepare the child for this special life event. We ask that at least one parent attend the class with their child. Children should bring their Bible, notebook and pen to class.
Baptisms take place in the Worship Center during each service hour on specific dates during the year. Private baptisms may also be available upon request.
2012 Important Baptism Dates:
- April 22 or April 29 (attend one class date), 11:15 a.m., E203, Baptism Class
- May 27, all services, Baptisms

Parent-Child Dedications
Parent-Child Dedications offer our families an opportunity to:
- express their appreciation to God for receiving such a wonderful gift in their children,
- publicly commit to raising their child in a Christ-like environment, and
- acknowledge trust in God that His will be done in their child’s life.
Parent-Child Dedications are scheduled periodically throughout the year during our Sunday services. You may also elect to have a private dedication after one of our services or in the prayer garden. Please click here to view/print sample blessings.
You do not need to be a member of Scottsdale Bible Church to have your dedication with us; however, all parents are required to go through our Legacy class. Each class is held on a Sunday morning.
Legacy Class
As a pre-requisite to our Parent-Child Dedications, all parents are asked to complete a Legacy class. The Legacy class gives you an opportunity to meet with the Children’s Ministry staff to learn the importance of leaving a godly legacy to your child and to create a blessing that will be read aloud during the dedication ceremony. Legacy classes usually occur two weeks prior to the scheduled dedications.
To participate in an upcoming Parent-Child Dedication and Legacy class, please click this link and complete the registration form. If you plan to have a private dedication or wish to request a specific pastor, please include that information in the “Additional Comments” field provided. Even in special cases, the Legacy class is still required. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon receipt of the completed registration form.

Winterfest
Your family won’t want to miss this incredible winter extravaganza which brings the entire community to the Scottsdale Bible campus! Our festival will be jam-packed with family fun including snow, a petting zoo, hayrides featuring the Christmas story shared by carolers, a live nativity, multiple bounce inflatables, a rock climbing wall, family photos, carnival games, cookie decorating, crafts, cards for troops, music and food for purchase by area vendors.
This outreach event is a great opportunity to invite family, neighbors, friends and schoolmates to our campus. Extend an invitation to people you know and encourage them to bring their family and friends along as well.
A large volunteer team is needed to make this festival happen. We hope you will join us for one hour of service that evening. We welcome singles, couples and families to help touch members of our community with the joy of Christmas. Children’s Musicals
We have some talented kids at KCRG! Periodically, our creative team gathers to put on a fun and lively musical featuring “our stars.”

Teacher Appreciation
It takes over 150 volunteers every Sunday to make KCRG possible. Without their love and dedication, we would not be able to provide the classrooms and quality programming that your children enjoy every week.
KCRG hosts two studios on Sundays where volunteers come together before going to their classrooms to pray for their time with the kids, receive announcements and pick up teaching supplies. The studios are also a great place to build community with one another—and there’s no better way to do that than over a meal!
Each week with the help of KCRG volunteers our Channel 1 team is welcomed by a delicious spread of warm casseroles, cheese, crackers, bagels, donut holes, fruit and more. This has really helped bond our team and show them how much they are appreciated. Please remember we are a nut-free campus to protect our children with nut allergies. Please check all ingredients and refrain from using nuts when baking.
We need your help to keep this quality time going. Please sign up to bring in a warm dish, baked good, bagels, cheese and crackers, appetizer, or a large box of individually- bagged chips (think Costco) to donate to one of our studios. Contact Mary Jennison at mjennison@sbcaz.org.
