AVL/IT Technology
The mission of the AVL/IT Technology Department is to provide state-of-the-art audio, video, lighting and Information Technology infrastructures that proactively meet the current and future needs of the ministries of Scottsdale Bible in a professional, cost-effective manner. Our goal is to support all ministries as they work to fulfill the Scottsdale Bible vision of creating a community of Christ-followers, marked by unwavering faith and unconditional love.
Staff in the AVL/IT Department are either scheduled or on-call to support all Scottsdale Bible Church ministries seven days a week, 15 hours a day on an as-needed basis. Services we provide include:
- Technical counseling and guidance on the use of media to enhance the worship and ministry experience;
- Professionally-trained sound and video technicians to support live and taped worship services;
- Production of original videos that support the Vision, Mission and Values of Scottsdale Bible;
- AVL equipment set up and volunteer training to support all ministries (e.g.: Adult Enrichment, Women’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Family Ministry, Special Ministries, etc.)
- IT systems, equipment and infrastructure to meet employee and ministry needs;
- System design and installation of new or upgraded equipment purchases.
Our primary target audience includes the Pastoral Staff, Worship Teams and Ministry Leaders. In addition, we provide technical support for all Scottsdale Bible Church hosted conferences, meetings and other special events as well as many Scottsdale Bible off-site events.
Although we have a core of paid technical staff, we rely heavily on the talents and time of our many volunteers who faithfully serve throughout the week to meet specific ministry needs.
