Hi Jamie. when you included the reality of life and what you were exposed to in a single week – people dealing with tough issues many of them gut wrenching- it gives me a wake up call on what my family has to deal with on an ongoing basis and really helps to bring things into perspective. The life stories that are being told with almost all ending with a message of hope have all been inspiring. The two common threads are that the solution to most if not all of our problems is spirtual and that we can use the “community” that you speak of to help us get through the tough times because many times this is where God makes His Presence known.
