The elders whose terms end June 30 are Dan Scruggs and Jim York. The following men have been voted on by our current Elder Board to serve the next term, which begins July 1. The members of our congregation will vote to affirm at the Annual Meeting May 31.

Jeff Goble
Jeff Goble came to faith in Christ at the age of nine while his family was living in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University, and is currently President of a medical device manufacturing company—manufacturing specialty infusion therapy products for the U.S. and international markets.
While in college, Jeff was on the Scottsdale Bible High School and Junior High staff; he and his wife were class leaders of the Genesis II enrichment class, served on all of Scottsdale Bible’s capital campaigns over the past fifteen years—taking on the chairmanship of both the Joshua Challenge and Enlarge our Hearts projects, member of the first Timothy Ministry class, served three times as an elder, and has served on the Executive Pastor and Worship Pastor search committees over the last year .
Jeff has attended Scottsdale Bible Church since 1972. He is married to Tracy and they have two children. Jeff and his family are avid scuba divers and love to travel.

Matt Everroad
Matt Everroad came to faith in Christ in college. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. He is currently the managing director of Rauch, Hermanson & Everroad, Ltd., a certified public accounting firm.
Currently, Matt serves as a board member of the Kuns Foundation, an organization that grants missionary scholarships to local seminaries and Make A Difference, a Christian urban outreach ministry that focuses on discipleship and mentoring through sports. Matt has served as part of the leadership team in past for the Faithful Families enrichment class. His current passion is evident by his participation and leadership in a family-based home fellowship and a family-oriented service small group. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running and an occasional hike. Matt has attended Scottsdale Bible Church since 1994. He is married to Janna and they have three children.

Tim Kimmel
Tim Kimmel accepted Christ as a child and rededicated his life to Christ at the age of 16. Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts, Bryan College; Masters of Theology, Dallas Theological Seminary; Doctor of Ministry, Phoenix Seminary. He is currently Executive Director of Family Matters—a national ministry committed to seeing families transformed through the power of God’s grace into instruments of reformation and restoration.
Tim began attending Scottsdale Bible in 1976 and served as our Youth Pastor for four years and one term on our elder board. He taught Faithful Families for the past 12 years and will lend his expertise in the grace-based strategy for families to our Children and Student Departments as well as the equipping of parents.
Tim is married to Darcy and they have two daughters and two sons. Tim is a seasoned fisherman and enjoys all outdoor sports, including horseback riding, hunting, camping and branding cattle.
Our elders are godly men who serve diligently without any remuneration. Please pray that God will continue to give them great wisdom and stamina for the task.
