Jeff Goble (elder, Chair of Nominating Committee) came to faith in Christ at the age of 9 while his family was living in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University and is currently President of a medical device manufacturing company—manufacturing specialty infusion therapy products for the U.S. and international markets. While in college, Jeff was on the Scottsdale Bible High School and Junior High staff; he and his wife were class leaders of the Genesis II enrichment class, served on all of Scottsdale Bible’s capital campaigns over the past 15 years—taking on the chairmanship of both the Joshua Challenge and Enlarge our Hearts projects, member of the first Timothy Ministry class and has served on the Executive Pastor and Worship Pastor search committees over the last year. Jeff has attended Scottsdale Bible Church since 1972; this is his fourth term as elder—serving as Vice Chairman. He is married to Tracy and they have two children.

Shawn Boskie became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1988 in Winston-Salem, NC. In 2001 he concluded a 15-year professional baseball career, eight of which were played in the Major Leagues. Upon retiring, Shawn was co-founder of Arizona-based venture capital fund, Arris Ventures, with an investment focus on early-stage companies in applied technology and retail services. Shawn joined the Alliance Defense Fund in the spring of 2003 as Director of Development in the Midwest region and later in the Western region. Shawn has been in his current role as the Vice President of Development since January of 2005. He has served on the state board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and has been featured as a keynote speaker for the purpose of fundraising, discipleship and outreach. He has been married to Pam for 19 years and has three children—Brad, Anna and Lauren. He and his wife have been involved at Scottsdale Bible Church since 1993.

Julie Dickison came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a child and was baptized at the age of 9 in Waco, Texas. She is a graduate of the School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Agri-Business. Julie has served at Scottsdale Bible with her husband Ron on the leadership team in the Genesis II enrichment class, is currently serving in leadership in the Christian Essentials enrichment class and serves the larger body of Christ as the Teaching Leader of a local women’s Bible Study Fellowship class. Julie and Ron and have five children and have been members of Scottsdale Bible Church since 1989.

Matt Everroad (elder) received Christ as his Savior in college. He earned a BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. Matt currently serves as the managing director of Rauch, Hermanson and Everroad, Ltd, a certified public accounting firm. Matt and his wife, Janna, have been attending Scottsdale Bible since they were married in 1995 and have served in a number of volunteer positions. Matt is on the board of MAD Ministries, a local Christian urban outreach, and the Kuns Foundation which grants scholarships to seminaries for students desiring to pursue mission work. Matt is a Timothy Leadership Training graduate. Their three children—Haley, Jack and Charlie—are now an integral part of their small group family fellowship whose focus is on serving together as families and equipping the next generation of believers.

Mary Malouf began her faith journey at age 10 in a Sunday School Class. Her spiritual growth has come from sitting under good Bible teaching at church, being exposed to great ideas at Westmont College and falling headlong into Young Life—which kept her clinging to God. For 35 years, Mary has served in the Scottsdale Bible music ministry, for eight years has co-led Community Connections with her husband, has gone on multiple mission trips and serves as a speaker for Women’s Ministry when needed. She also mentors Young Life staff wives and serves on a number of their committees. She and her husband Bob have two married sons who are passionate about Christ and four grand kids. Her passion is to talk about Jesus in the context of community.

Michael Regan was introduced to the Lord during his sophomore year of high school in Virginia. Michael’s relationship with Christ grew during the next seven years, influenced by the discipleship of Campus Crusade for Christ at ASU. Michael truly became a follower of Christ during his senior year at a CCC winter conference. Michael met Lori during his junior year of college and they were married six months after his graduation. They immediately plugged into the local church and especially enjoyed leading small group Bible studies with other young couples. Their daughter Maddie was born in 1998, Sydney followed in 2000, and Max rounded out the tribe in 2002. Michael and Lori began attending Scottsdale Bible in 1997 and is a 2006 graduate of the Timothy Leadership Training program. Michael is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist with Valley Private Mortgage Group in Scottsdale.

Dr. Paul Wegner became Professor of Old Testament at Phoenix Seminary in 2001 after teaching at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago for 12 years. Dr. Wegner has extensive experience in local church ministry. He has also delivered many lectures and papers to both academic and popular audiences. His interests include Hebrew, textual criticism, and ancient artifacts. He has led and taught numerous trips to Israel. Dr. Wegner was a contributor to the ESV Study Bible (Crossway Bibles, 2008), for which he wrote study notes for the prophetic books of Daniel and Habakkuk, the article on “The Reliability of the Old Testament Manuscripts,” and served as a consultant for the Old Testament Charts and Timelines. His specialty is the book of Isaiah, and he is currently under contract with IVP to write an updated commentary on Isaiah for the distinguished Tyndale Old Testament Commentary series (forthcoming 2015).
