Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is starting a chapter here at Scottsdale Bible this fall. MOPS groups are Christ centered communities that strive to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten Moms have found community through this ministry for almost 40 years.

MOPS is about meeting the needs of moms by providing Biblically sound resources, encouragement and friendship. Throughout the year special speakers will grace us with their expertise on parenting, family dynamics, home organization and marriage. Moppets is a special program designed for your children while you enjoy time with other women.

Women’s Ministry invites you to join us at this years Retreat in Historic Prescott, Arizona, February 26–27, 2010. We will be staying at the Wyndham Garden Hotel amidst the ponderosa pines and just minutes from Historic Downtown Prescott.

Our theme for this event is “Patterns for Living”. As we gather in the beautiful mountains, you can expect fun, girlfriend time, activities, lots of laughter and spiritual inspiration from our three outstanding speakers: Shirley Kelliher, Tracy Goble, and Shannon Cox.

The cost for this weekend includes one night and two meals. The accommodations are newly updated rooms with every convenience and the property has an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

This evening will include special music, “What not to Wear” skit, a unique fashion show and our theme for the upcoming ministry year! In addition to the fun, we will be presenting our fall outreach project which we are calling Project Blessing to bless our missionary women and wives.

After the main event you can register for your fall Bible study and meet your teacher. Books for the classes will be available to take home. In addition, our Gods Kidz children’s program and home school program teachers will be ready to answer your questions and register your children.
