We all contribute in different ways. Our talents may vary, just as our callings may differ. But the work of missions is a shared effort. We labor together as the Body of Christ—without each other, this work could not be done. If the Lord has called you to give and support, here are a few reminders:

Be consistent with your support if you commit to monthly giving. Write it on the calendar or enter it on a computer desktop reminder so support will be received and processed properly by the mission agency.
If it is a one-time gift, make a clear notation on the check who it is for and the purpose (example: for the Jones family in Africa, for Christmas food fund).
Consider pooling resources with a Bible-study group or an enrichment class to give to a missionary.
Take information from their newsletters. If a missionary mentions a specific need, consider giving toward that.
