Community and Small Groups We want to help you form new friends and grow in your faith. Small groups are where we live life together and develop spiritual friendships that support and encourage.
Most people long for the joy of being connected in community—and in a large church that can be a challenge. Our desire is that each person finds a place where the beauty of true friendships is discovered and where spiritual growth occurs in an environment of trust. Life Groups at Scottsdale Bible are where you can experience biblical community. It is a place where people study God’s Word in the context of a home environment to help each other love and follow Jesus. It is also a place where we step out in faith to serve God together and share His love with others. We have Life Groups meeting each weekday all across the Valley. Let us help you find one that fits your schedule, is close to your home and has curriculum that interests you.

Is a Life Group right for you? What it means to belong:
“I’d like to meet some new people at church, but it’s so hard to connect in a church this size!” Connecting is what Life Groups are all about, but what exactly does it mean to belong to a Life Group? First of all, joining a Life Group means Commitment. It is a commitment to make the Life Group a priority, attending regularly and being on time. It is committing to studying the Bible on a weekly basis, completing the “homework,” and participating in discussions.
Joining a Life Group is also a Loving Responsibility to care for the people in the group. It’s a commitment to pray for each other and support one another. It means being open and honest about your life, your faith, your questions and doubts. Life Groups are a safe place to share and grow strong friendships.
Joining means Growth. “God loves you just the way you are, but He loves you too much to leave you there.” Growth can be uncomfortable or even painful at times, but it is how we mature as Christians. Life Groups foster personal growth, as well as growth in the body of Christ.
Joining a Life Group means Experiencing Abundant Life in an authentic Christian community. It means joining with like-minded people and counting on each other. “Stand firm in the Spirit, contending as one for the faith of the gospel.” (Phil. 1:27b) Are you ready?
