But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:23–24).
As the music and worship leadership for Sunday night, we have the great privilege of bring a balance and relationship, the innovative and the relative, passion and humility and ultimately sincere worship in spirit and truth.
We desire to create an atmosphere of freedom and divine focus, a place of acceptance and of passionate expression and joy. We want Sunday night to be a place of celebration in community and intimacy with God and each other—a place where people can fulfill their original intent; to glorify God and to inspire man to draw closer to preparation of services and our daily responsibilities. Our intention is to be as prepared as possible while being flexible enough to follow the leading of the Spirit, always being purposeful and prayerful.
Our vision is to be creative vessels through which God can continue to give His new song to His people, to educate and train others to be excellent and expressive for the glory of God and to lead the culture rather than be led by it.
When the imagination is choked, so also is knowledge.—Thomas Aquinas
