And it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. And when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, “for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever,” the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God (II Chronicles 5:13–14).

Thank you for your interest in the Scottsdale Bible North Worship Arts Ministry. Our ministry has the awesome responsibility of leading people in worship and we take that responsibility seriously! We consider every person involved in the worship ministry to be a lead worshiper and a vital factor in the north campus worship experience.

Choir
Open to all interested adults and students (high school/college) for a nine-month commitment (September—May). Members attend weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals and Sunday worship services per the yearly schedule. Individual interview scheduled with registration. Open registration the months of September and January.

Lead Singers
Interview/Auditions in September. Mandatory choir membership.

Worship Leaders
By selection. Leaders must demonstrate high levels of commitment, aptitude and a desire to be mentored, grow and function as a worship leader.  

Summer Praise Team
Auditions in April. Team members serve on a rotating schedule June, July and August.

Core Band Membership 
By audition. A 12-month commitment is expected. Band members serve on a rotating schedule.  Members rehearse on Wednesday prior to their scheduled Sunday. Core bands consist of: drums, bass, electric, acoustic, keys and aux. percussion.   

Color Instrument Team
By audition. Color team instruments are scheduled on an as-needed basis, rehearsing with a core band the week they are scheduled. Color instruments include strings, recorder, flute, brass, saxophone, oboe, etc.

Drama Team
A 12-month commitment (September through August) is expected. The drama team includes actors and a support team of costumers, props persons and stage managers. Actors: Tuesday evening rehearsals and monthly actors workshops. All others: periodic, as needed. Contact Don at dcrosby@sbcaz.org or 480.824.7253.

Tech Teams
By interview. Tech team includes sound assistants, lighting and MediaShout operators. A 12-month commitment is expected. Assignments are made based on need and interest area. Each member serves on a rotating schedule.

Dance Team
Dance team serves at both the north and south campus venues. Janna is coordinator for the team. Contact Janna at everroads@cox.net.
